Take your investing seriously.

Just like anything in life, if you treat real estate casually, you'll get casual results.
The former landlords you hear the biggest horror stories from are the ones that didn't take it seriously.
They didn't put a proper lease in place, they rented to their neighbors buddy who needed a place, or the first desperate soul that came along and said they'd promise to pay rent on time.
This business is not that difficult, you just need to treat it like a business and take it seriously.
Getting started as an investor isn't all that difficult, and neither is managing your own properties.
But when you treat it as a hobby, it can become exponentially more difficult for you, and eventually you'll quit.
So, the next time you hear from your uncle Jimmy that his buddy Bill once had a rental that got trashed by his aunts drunk nephew, just realize that's not the outcome most of us have.
Don't let that stop you from jumping in, because it doesn't need to be like that, and if you treat it seriously, it won't.
Let me help you get setup, and you'll have a better experience.
